MINI Concept Cars, over a Decade of Innovation. Mini Copper has enjoyed a successful life since its resurrection by BMW in the late nineties. In many ways Mini is similar to the Carrera, classic retro, yet modern design philosophy. Today, Mini comes in all shapes and sizes, but it is easily recognizable as a mini with obvious visual ties to the original Mini. It is more refined, true to the enthusiast base in some cases, while abandoning the true enthusiasts in others. Regardless of which part of the fence your reside on, one thing is sure enough, Mini is an amazing car company, and mini designs make our inner child come out and smile.

To celebrate MINI design, here are the most prominent concept cars for a little more than a decade. Recently introduced, the 2012 MINI Rocketman Concept is the newest concept from a long list. Blends fresh designs for individual versatility in major cities with established, unmistakably English style features.

Prior year, the 2011 MINI Rocketman Concept debuted. Combined a timeless design with innovative technology to redefine the brand’s basic principle of ingenious space utilization.

Then came the 2010 MINI Paceman Concept. Placed under the retro crossover based on the Countryman marking Mini’s entry onto the premium coupe SUV (SAC) segment. Also that year, the MINI Beachcomber Concept was shown. A radical open design also based on the Countryman, but more focused on the driver. Another concept that Mini introduced was the MINI Scooter E Concept.

2009 MINI Roadster Concept and MINI Coupé Concept. This Coupé roadsterdelivered pure driving experience.

2008 MINI Crossover Concept measuring at 13 ft (almost 4 meters) long, this flavor of the Countryman granted plenty of room for carrying passengers in a car of its’ size.

2005 MINI Concept was a preview of the Clubman in the Frankfurt, Tokyo, Detroit, and Geneva auto shows.

Started a whole new era. In 1997 MINI Concept Monte Carlo Rallye that paid tribute to the 67′ Monte Carlo Rally. Shortly after in 2001 the first new generation Mini Cooper debuted bringing joy and happiness to many enthusiasts.
