A new addition to the 3 Series family is on it’s way. Spy shots show the BMW 3 Series GT revealing more details with less camouflage on the exterior.
The exterior sheet metal design, as well as the interior layout lends to maximize interior space and comfort for occupants to enjoy. Expect the GT to go into production sometime in late 2013 after the release of the 4 Series coupe and convertible. Expect the 2.0 turbo charged 4-cylinder N20 engine to be offered in 328i GT form, as well as the 3.0 liter twin turbo inline-6 in 335i GT.
If you like the styling of the current 5 Series GT, then you will have no issues adapting to the 3 Series GT. This 5 door “cross over” looks very similar to the 535i GT styling. Let’s hope that the body camo is hiding better over all styling for the new BMW.
