The M6 Gran Coupe is powered by a 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 producing a whopping 560 hp (412 kW) between 5750 to 7000 rpm and 500 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque, from 1500 to 5750 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an automated double clutch 7-speed (M-DCT) transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. A limited slip diff, Active M-Differential in BMW language, ensures that the mountain of torque is routed to the rear wheel with the greatest amount of traction, to ensure maximum use of power.

Based on the 5, 6, and 7 Series platform, the M6 Gran Coupe is a 4 door coupe shaped sedan with M5 performance numbers and additional styling. A car for those who need a little more than shear power, great driving dynamics, and practicality. The showcased video shows the M6 driving around on great roads with nothing but the pure sound of that boosted V8 coming out at us.
