2013 MINI Countryman John Cooper Works: Mini is implementing a plan to extend its John Cooper Works performance model range to include several additional vehicles. Equipped with a 218 hp 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 206 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque. An overboost function asllows for 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) between  1850 rpm – 5600 rpm. The John Cooper Works Countryman is the most powerful, horsepower not speed wise, car to ever come out of the Mini production line as of today.

A proper 6-speed manual transmission is standard, while a 6-speed automatic is optional with the familiar steptronic and steering wheel mounted paddles. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a standard ALL4 all wheel drive system. Sixty two mph is reached in 7 seconds flat. Great for a MINI that offers a great deal of passenger room and storage capacity.

A fun four door five-seater people mover that benefits in the handling department from the John Cooper performance treatment, which lowers the suspension by 10 mm. While an aggressive factory J.C. body kit, coupled with 18″ double spoke wheels, or an optional 19″ wheels, create a tough yet exclusive stance. You can pick one up in the UK for £28,595.
